While asana, or yoga poses, have become the main focus in a modern western yoga class, it is just one aspect of the self and just the tip of the iceberg of a well rounded yoga practice. More than party tricks, how good you look, or even wellness, yoga is fundamentally a spiritual practice that guides you into your Self. The subtle teachings of anatomy, breath practices, meditation, and philosophy are the magic behind the mat. 

Harnessing the power of your breath, directing and channeling your energy, learning to watch the mind, and glimpsing the depths of your soul  can transform your understanding of your self and the world you live in. This work has taken a back seat in many yoga studios or are reserved for teacher trainings… until now. 

Join me for a series of deep explorations of yoga designed for students who want to expand and deepen their understanding and utilization of their yoga practices beyond a typical 60 minute class. This series offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a laboratory for their bodies, breath, minds, and souls.
